Do Teaching Jobs Abroad To Get Out Of The UK’s Winter Weather
With high levels of wind, rain and flooding, the UK in autumn and winter can be a miserable place to live. You can choose to leave the UK for months at a time if you have reached the age of retirement, only coming home as the days get longer and lighter. If you have not yet reached the age when you can hang your working suit up, but you would love to be able to move out of the UK for a few months during the colder season, then why not look into teaching jobs abroad?
You need to take a TEFL course in order to be able to teach in foreign classrooms, but you do not need to have done a degree in education or teaching. You can take these, such as EFL training, on a part time basis or through distance learning, making it plausible to complete the course whilst working at a full time job. carrying out your course in the summer means that as soon as winter arrives, you are ready to jet off and become a TEFL teacher.
For those people who do not work in a permanent full-time contract, you can find yourself in exotic countries for half of the year. There are opportunities in Asia, Africa, America, South America and Europe where you can teach English as a foreign language.
Whilst flights are not always included in your contract, you can find jobs that include accommodation or give you discounted accommodation, your hours of work are less than average and the cost of living is lower than the UK.
Just imaging lying on the beach with an icy cocktail after an easy day of teaching whilst your colleagues back home are stuck at a desk, staring into a grey sky and wishing they were half as lucky as you. Brilliant!
